Sioux Links Wraps Up Its 25th Year
2021 marked our 25th year in business, and what a year it has been! We have stayed true to our commitment to provide valuable tools for area golfers including listings for over 130 golf courses in four states and valuable coupons. This year, we partnered with GolfStatus to bring enhanced online listing features, over 700 listed online. The best part is that tournament organizers can now get a free website for their event, allowing golfers to register directly from the listing, make additional purchases, and watch live scoring and leaderboards the day of the event. We started the year off with a fun season kick-off Par-Tee at our 2021 cover course, Prairie Green in Sioux Falls. Then, the final stages for the Golfers Guide commenced including delivery of 15,000 guides to over 400 locations in South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska.
We Golfed Over 25 Courses!
We did take time to celebrate and play some golf! In our 25th year, we golfed more than 25 different area courses, including five new courses. We hope to golf even more new courses in 2022!
In September, we hosted the third annual Bogies & Brews at Prairie Green. This event continues to grow with more breweries, sponsors, and golfers. This year it sold out in five hours, and we are looking to grow the number of golfers and breweries attending for the fourth annual. It has been a few weeks since the conclusion of the 2-Man Fall Great Shots league and we are still dreaming about it! You see, it was a first time playing in it, our first time going 6-0 in the regular season, and our first time winning the championship! What a ride and fun league it was.
