The annual Kidz-N-Coats Classic was held on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Prairie Green Golf Course. Registration will start at 8:00 a.m., and the shotgun start will be at 9:00 a.m.
The tournament is a 4 player scramble and is $500.00 a team. This includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, goodies bag, and a lunch at the end of the tournament. There will be various awards, door prizes and raffles. There will be prizes for 1st through 3rd place and the chance to win $10,000 if you can make a hole in one at are hole in one challenge.
The Kidz-N-Coats Classic benefits the charity Kidz-N-Coats, which provides new coats and school supplies to children in need. Every year, South Dakota experiences winter weather that brings large amounts of snow and sub-zero temperatures. Many kids right here in the Sioux Empire don’t have coats to keep them warm. The goal of Kidz-N-Coats is to warm kids one coat at a time.
