We are pleased to present our 2019 cover feature course, Madison Golf and Country Club in Madison, South Dakota. Designed by Joel Goldstrand, the course opened in 1946 and is managed by Nick Dossett. Mature trees line the fairways requiring a well-placed drive. The course plays long and measures 6,189 yards from the longest tees for a par of 71. Hole one has a blind, dog-leg tee shot that tests a golfer who hasn't been to the course before. The course can't be classified as flat as many holes are up, or downhill and many have water to hit over as a creek runs throughout the course, tormenting golfers.
